ABOUT ISM

Independent Study and Mentorship, or ISM, is a unique elective offered at high schools in Frisco ISD. This elective gives juniors and seniors the opportunity to explore any field and job that they wish to pursue. Through interviews, research, and working with mentors, students can then create a final project that shows what they've learned throughout the year. Not only do students learn more about their chosen field, but they also develop communication skills that can make a difference in the real world.
