This week, not only did I continue to research different theories of dark matter, but I also invested much of my time into organizing and planning out my Original Work. My goal is to analyze the different theories of dark matter and compare them to find which one is the most effective and supported. However, I had no real detailed plan of doing this. Thankfully, this week I devised a ranking system to categorize each theory based on theoretical data, physical evidence, and the community consensus about the topic. This will greatly help me, especially because it sets me up for the future, and now I don't have to worry about the details of my work. Instead, I can focus solely on researching and finding data for each individual theory.
Additionally, we had to prepare a ten minute speech this week for a research presentation. Although we have to present it through a recording of ourselves, I still put a lot of effort into describing the research I had done in my topic up to this point in time. Additionally, I was able to learn how to create a meaningful presentation to accommodate my presentation, and I have been working to perfect my speech so that I can share everything I've learned. For this coming week, I want to research two more theories if possible, and I will practice my speech more and deliver it to my class.
